my Zentangle® explorations
I have recently discovered an art form that pleases me very much. As i am not talented to draw by “nature” i tend to look for all kinds of abstract drawing methods like mandalas, grids ,geometric forms ect. Now i found on a weavers website a link to Zentangle®. Because i have respect for the hard work of Maria and Rick i put the link below.
The Zentangle® art form and method was created by Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas. Zentangle® is a registered trademark of Zentangle, Inc. Learn more at zentangle.com.
I found a lot of tangles in there newsletters. the website tanglepatterns.com was a great help to get started. as I am on a very small budget for my hobbies i have to use what i have on hand: lots of drawing paper ,black pigment liner from staedler and a fountain pen with black ink. the starterskit will be on my wishlist for birthday or so.
Here something I made after two weeks of learning tanglepatterns.
And this one is from the challenge to tangle my name;as my name is long i made an ensemble of four tiles.

You have done very well in your first few weeks of Zentangle. Your tangles are lovely and you have worked a lot of patterns! I look forward to seeing more from you! I am a beginner too.
