Challenge #16: MOOKA!

Here is my ZIA for this weeks challenge. Mooka is a great tangle and fun to do. Instructions are here. It was not so easy as it looked at first sight. the secret is to draw the curves really smooth and nicely rounded . For me  that part  has taken  a  lot of exercise .  Also included is  the first  presentation of my new pattern “ciantha” . It is on the upper left side. I will put the steps under patterns .

update: The tangle on the upper right is a variation of Laura Harms tangle “Versa”. I have drawn it without looking at the steps ,so i kind of forgot the lines from corner to corner . Insted of the smaller petals i made mine go under the first . I have changed the direction of the big petal every now and then so it looks like the flowers are interwoven.

You see Versa is really versatile. Thank you Laura.

Great, I really enjoy all your Mooka variations especially the one in the center on the bottom. Shading is lovely.

Lots of exciting tangles! I like your new tangle “ciantha” but am also intrigued by the tangle on the upper right side that looks like a blend of bales and cadent… does it have a name?
